Staff at 25hours are competent, sociable, dedicated and empathetic. Staff with personality and interests outside their workplace raise the profile of our product. We don’t want service robots. Human contact cannot be standardised. We allow our staff free rein in interacting with our guests so they are happy to give each individual the attention they deserve. Find out what type of work suits you best with a placement as part of our work experience weeks.

Looking for a practical semester placement? 25hours hotels have a variety of different options for mandatory work placements for students over a minimum 6 month period.

Apprenticeship


2Kitchen or hotel business?
25hours offers various apprenticeships in all destinations. The apprenticeship lasts 3 years and can also be shortened on request. A fixed apprenticeship plan gives you the chance to learn all the necessary procedures and tasks in a design hotel from the ground up. It will be anything but boring.

Direct-entry


Are you a born host but haven’t gone down the classic training route? Well, there’s lots of ways to start right in the thick of things.

Dual-studies


Finished your apprenticeship but still want to learn more? 25hours cooperates with various universities offering dual studies courses.

Entry-level positions


Finished your apprenticeship or just on the lookout for a new challenge - come on in. All our hotel teams look forward to new colleagues and have a lot of fun and work waiting. Everybody has a chance to grow, both personally and professionally.

Head of Department


You’re an old hand and now want to focus on your leadership skills. Seasoned professionals can move on to managerial roles with us, even without a perfect CV. Dipping your toe into professional waters can be pretty nerve-wracking at first but we support everybody along the way with the right training concepts and plenty of constructive feedback.

Our general managers are not only experienced, they enjoy their work and genuinely embody their role as hosts with body and soul. We just as much expect structured leadership with sensitivity and individuality as an honest manner and a good sense of numbers.

Our training concept is colourful, exciting, lively and grows steadily. What is important is it’s authentic and close to what’s happening. A lot of our training programmes have been specially developed for 25hours. They are jointly developed on an inter-hotel and cross-departmental level and taught by our own members of staff. Our topics range from the whole package such as essentials, feedback and behaviour up to a close-up on the arrival of guests. We successful work with Bridgehouse for individual development of our managers. The training company not only has a philosophy that suits 25hours, it also has a variety of seminars and a broad portfolio of experienced trainers. Our focus is on exchange and individual development. We learn from and with each other – so our training sessions are not just about “leaning back and relaxing” they are for “actively taking part in”.

We train dedicated and motivated employees with an infectious personality to become key players. Christina Arnold helps us in this. Selected staff members from every 25hours hotel learn trainer basics at regular multi-seminars where they creatively and actively help to develop training concepts. In their 25hours hotel they take on the responsibility of communicating and demonstrating the message of our essentials, feedback and behaviour policies to their colleagues.
