We are delighted to finally welcome you back to our hotels, restaurants and bars. However, special rules still apply for check-in and overnight stays at the hotel and for visiting our restaurants and bars. In some cases it is necessary to present a negative COVID19 test or other proof upon arrival.  Regulations sometimes vary from one location to the next. Here we have briefly summarised what applies to the individual destinations (subject to change).

Berlin (13.9.2021)

  • Arrival at hotel: 
    Negative test proof (rapid or PCR test max. 24h old), vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old).
  • Gastronomy:
    Indoor areas: Negative test proof (rapid or PCR test max. 24h old), vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old).
    Outdoor areas: No test or vaccination proof required.
  • Mask requirement:
    Medical masks must be worn in most indoor areas, FFP2 masks are mandatory in public transport.

Düsseldorf (15.9.2021)

  • Arrival at the hotel:
    Negative test proof (rapid or PCR test max. 48h old), vaccination proof (15th day after the last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old).
  • Gastronomy:
    Indoor areas: Negative test proof (rapid or PCR test max. 48h old), vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old).
    Outdoor areas: No test or vaccination proof required.
  • Mask requirement:
    Medical masks must be worn in most indoor areas, FFP2 masks are mandatory in public transport.

Frankfurt (21.9.2021)

  • Arrival at hotel:
    Negative test proof (rapid test max. 24h old or PCR test max. 48h old), vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old). After 72h, a new proof is required.
  • Gastronomy:
    Indoor areas: Negative test proof (rapid test max. 24h old or PCR test max. 48h old), vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old).
    Outdoor areas: No test or vaccination proof required.

Hamburg (23.9.2021)

  • Gastronomy:
    Indoor areas: Negative test proof (rapid test max. 24h old, PCR test max. 48h old), vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old) is required.
    Outdoor areas: No test or vaccination proof required.
  • Mask requirement:

Cologne (14.9.2021)

  • Arrival at the hotel:
    Negative test proof (rapid or PCR test max. 48h old), vaccination proof (15th day after the last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old).
  • Gastronomy:
    Indoor areas: Negative test proof (rapid or PCR test max. 48h old), vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old).

Munich (13.9.2021)

  • Arrival at hotel:
    Negative test proof (rapid test max 24h old or PCR test max. 48h old), vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old), self test at hotel reception.
  • Gastronomy:
    Indoor areas: Negative test proof (rapid test max 24h old or PCR test max. 48h old), vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old).
    Outdoor areas: No test or vaccination proof required.
  • Mask requirement:
    FFP2 masks must be worn in most indoor areas and in public transport.

Vienna (17.9.2021)

  • Arrival at hotel:
    Negative test proof (antigen test max. 48h old, PCR test max. 48h old), vaccination proof (second vaccination - max. 9 months old, vaccines where only 1 vaccination is necessary - from the 22nd day after the first vaccination, max. 9 months old) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old). On-site self-tests will not be accepted.
  • Gastronomy:
    Indoor & outdoor areas: Negative test proof,vaccination proof or convalescent proof required (see arrival at hotel).
  • Mask requirement:
    Mouth and nose protection must be worn wherever 3G detection is not required, for example in public transport and in shops. There is no need to wear masks at the hotel.

Zurich (17.9.2021)

  • Arrival at hotel:
    No test or vaccination proof required.
  • Gastronomy:
    Indoor areas: A certificate obligation applies. The certificate must be able to be checked with the Covid Certificate Check app, and an identification document with name, date of birth and photo is also required. Certificates are issued for persons who are fully vaccinated, convalesced (from 11th day after positive test result up to max. 180 days) and tested negative (PCR test max. 72h old or antigen rapid test max. 48h old). The EU Digital COVID Certificate is recognized in Switzerland and can also be checked with the Covid Certificate Check app.
    Outdoor areas: No test or vaccination proof required.
  • Mask requirement:
    Mouth-nose protection must be worn in most indoor areas. The mask requirement does not apply in indoor areas where certificates are required.

Paris (13.9.2021)

  • Arrival at hotel: 
    No test or vaccination proof required.
  • Gastronomy:
    Indoor & outdoor areas: Negative test proof (rapid or PCR test max. 48h old), vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 15 days to 6 months old).
  • Mask requirement:
    Mouth-nose protection must be worn in most indoor areas.
