We are delighted to finally welcome you back to our hotels, restaurants and bars. However, special rules still apply for check-in and overnight stays at the hotel and for visiting our restaurants and bars. In some cases it is necessary to present a negative COVID19 test or other proof upon arrival.  Regulations sometimes vary from one location to the next. Here we have briefly summarised what applies to the individual destinations (subject to change).

Berlin (27.11.2021)

  • Arrival at hotel: 
    2G - Vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old).
  • Gastronomy:
    Indoor areas: 2G regulation - vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old). An exception applies for children / teenagers below 18 years old as well as pregnant woman and guests who can provide a attestation from a doctor. In this case the guests have to present a negative test proof (rapid or PCR test max. 24h old).
    Outdoor areas: No test or vaccination proof required.
  • Mask requirement:
    Medical masks must be worn in most indoor areas, FFP2 masks are mandatory in public transport.

Düsseldorf (24.11.2021)

  • Arrival at the hotel:
    2G - Vaccination proof (15th day after the last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old).
  • Gastronomy:
    Indoor & outdoor areas: 2G - vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old).
  • Mask requirement:
    Medical masks must be worn in most indoor areas, FFP2 masks are mandatory in public transport. In addition 3G applies in public transport - Negative test proof (rapid test max. 24h old or PCR test max. 48h old).

Frankfurt (30.11.2021)

  • Arrival at hotel:
    Privat: 2G - Vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old).
    Business: 3G - Negative test proof (rapid test max. 24h old or PCR test max. 48h old), vaccination proof (15th day after the last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old).
  • Gastronomy:
    Indoor areas: 2G - Vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old).
    For the Oost Bar applies: 2G Plus - Vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old) plus negative test proof (max. 24h old).
    Outdoor areas: No test or vaccination proof required.
  • Mask requirement:
    Medical masks must be worn in most indoor areas and in public transport.

Hamburg (4.12.2021)

  • Arrival at hotel:
    2G: Vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old). After 72h, a new proof is required. Children and adolescents under 16 years of age are exempt from the regulations.
  • Gastronomy:
    Indoor and outdoor areas: 2G: Vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old). After 72h, a new proof is required. Children and adolescents under 16 years of age are exempt from the regulations.
  • Mask requirement:
    Medical masks must be worn in most indoor areas and in public transport.

Cologne (24.11.2021)

  • Arrival at the hotel:
    Private: 2G - Vaccination proof (15th day after the last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old).*
    Business: 3G - Negative test proof (rapid test max. 24h old or PCR test max. 48h old), vaccination proof (15th day after the last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old).*
  • Gastronomy:
    Indoor & outdoor areas: 2G - Vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old).*
  • Mask requirement:
    Medical masks must be worn in most indoor areas, FFP2 masks are mandatory in public transport.

    *Exceptions apply for children and adolescents up to 15 years of age and persons who cannot be vaccinated.

Munich (22.11.2021)

  • Arrival at hotel:
    Private: 2G: Vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old). 
    Business: Vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose), convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old) or negative PCR test proof (max. 48h old).
  • Gastronomy:
    Indoor areas: 2G: Vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old). 
    Outdoor areas: No test or vaccination proof required.
  • Mask requirement:
    FFP2 masks must be worn in most indoor areas and in public transport.

Vienna (22.11.2021)

  • Arrival at hotel:
    Arrival is possible for business travel which cannot be postponed, or due to the need to urgently satisfy accommodation needs because of no alternative accommodation option available at the current destination. Guests must be fully vaccinated, approved within the EU (Moderna, Pfizer-Biontech, Astra-Zeneca or Janssen/Johnson&Johnson) or have documentation - such as a government-issued certificate or doctors’ note - about recovery from a recent COVID infection (no older than 180 days) to be able to enter a hotel in Austria. Proof of full vaccination (First dose only not valid, second dose max. 270 days ago. In case of immunisation with Janssen/Johnson & Johnson: valid from 22nd day after vaccination, maximum 270 days old).

    Temporary introductory phase rules until Dec 6, 2021: Admission to hotels also possible with first dose of EU-recognised vaccine (Moderna, Pfizer-Biontech, Astra-Zeneca or Janssen/Johnson&Johnson) in addition to a valid PCR-Test (taken max. 48h prior to check-in).

    Children who are living in Austria can also be accepted into hotels with their school testing regime passport (so-called “Ninja-Pass”).
  • Gastronomy: 
    RIBELLI Restaurant: Open for hotel guests only. 
    Der Dachboden: Due to the current situation the Dachboden is closed. 
  • Mask requirement:
    An FFP2 mask must be work in all areas of the hotel (except rooms). 

Zurich (12.11.2021)

  • Arrival at hotel:
    No test or vaccination proof required.
  • Gastronomy:
    Indoor areas: A certificate obligation applies. The certificate must be able to be checked with the Covid Certificate Check app, and an identification document with name, date of birth and photo is also required. Certificates are issued for persons who are fully vaccinated, convalesced (from 11th day after positive test result up to max. 180 days) and tested negative (PCR test max. 72h old or antigen rapid test max. 48h old). The EU Digital COVID Certificate is recognized in Switzerland and can also be checked with the Covid Certificate Check app. Guests from third countries (=outside the EU) must have their certificate (2G) converted online in order to obtain a certificate valid in Switzerland.
    Outdoor areas: No test or vaccination proof required.
  • Mask requirement:
    Mouth-nose protection must be worn in most indoor areas. The mask requirement does not apply in indoor areas where certificates are required.

Paris (1.10.2021)

  • Arrival at hotel: 
    No test or vaccination proof required.
  • Gastronomy:
    Indoor & outdoor areas: Negative test proof (rapid or PCR test max. 48h old), vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 15 days to 6 months old).
  • Mask requirement:
    Mouth-nose protection must be worn in most indoor areas.

Florence (30.11.2021)

  • Arrival at hotel: 
    No test or vaccination proof required.
  • Gastronomy:
    Indoor areas: Negative test proof (rapid or PCR test max. 48h old), vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 15 days to 6 months old).
    Outdoor areas: No test or vaccination proof required.
  • Mask requirement:
    Mouth-nose protection must be worn in most indoor areas.
