We are delighted to finally welcome you back to our hotels, restaurants and bars. However, special rules still apply for check-in and overnight stays at the hotel and for visiting our restaurants and bars. In some cases it is necessary to present a negative COVID19 test or other proof upon arrival.  Regulations sometimes vary from one location to the next. Here we have briefly summarised what applies to the individual destinations (subject to change).

Berlin (from 15.1.2022)

  • Arrival at hotel: 
    2G Plus - Vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old) plus negative test proof (max. 24h old) or proof of booster vaccination.*
  • Gastronomy:
    2G Plus - Vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old) plus negative test proof (max. 24h old) or proof of booster vaccination.*
  • Mask requirement:
    Medical masks must be worn in most indoor areas, FFP2 masks are mandatory in public transport.

*Admission only with an official ID. Children and adolescents under 16 years of age as well as pregnant woman and guests who can provide a attestation from a doctor are exempt from the regulations. In this case the guests have to present a negative test proof (rapid or PCR test max. 24h old).

Dubai (17.12.2021)

  • Arrival at the hotel:
    No test or proof of vaccination required.
  • Gastronomy:
    No test or proof of vaccination required.
  • Mask requirement:
    Mouth and nose protection must be worn indoors and outdoors. Exceptions apply to pool areas and outdoor sports.

Düsseldorf (20.1.2022)

  • Arrival at the hotel:
    Private: 2G Plus - Vaccination proof (15th day after the last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old) plus negative test proof (max. 24h old) or proof of booster vaccination.*
    Business: 3G - Negative test proof (rapid test max. 24h old or PCR test max. 48h old), vaccination proof (15th day after the last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old).*
  • Gastronomy:
    2G Plus - Vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old) plus negative test proof (max. 24h old) or proof of booster vaccination.*
  • Mask requirement:

    Strengthened / Super Green Pass: Vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose, max 9 month old) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 15 days to 6 months old).
  • Gastronomy:
    Strengthened / Super Green Pass: Vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose, max 9 month old) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 15 days to 6 months old).
  • Mask requirement:
    Medical masks must be worn in most indoor areas.

Frankfurt (7.1.2022)

  • Arrival at hotel:
    2G Plus - Vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old) additionally negative test proof (max. 24h old) or 3-times vaccinated.
  • Gastronomy:
    Indoor areas: 2G Plus - Vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old) additionally negative test proof (max. 24h old) or 3-times vaccinated.
    For the Klima Bar applies: 2G Plus - Vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old) plus negative test proof (max. 24h old).
    Outdoor areas: No test or vaccination proof required.
  • Mask requirement:
    Medical masks must be worn in most indoor areas and in public transport. The mask requirement also applies to 2G Plus.

Hamburg (10.1.2022)

  • Arrival at hotel:
    2G-Plus: Vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old) plus negative test proof (max. 24h old) or proof of booster vaccination.*
  • Gastronomy:
    2G-Plus: Vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old) plus negative test proof (max. 24h old) or proof of booster vaccination.*
  • Mask requirement:
    Medical masks must be worn in most indoor areas and in public transport.

  • Gastronomy:
    Indoor areas: 2G: Vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 28 days to 6 months old). 
    Outdoor areas: No test or vaccination proof required.
  • Mask requirement:
    FFP2 masks must be worn in most indoor areas and in public transport.

Paris (1.10.2021)

  • Arrival at hotel: 
    No test or vaccination proof required.
  • Gastronomy:
    Indoor & outdoor areas: Negative test proof (rapid or PCR test max. 48h old), vaccination proof (15th day after last vaccination dose) or convalescent proof (positive PCR test 15 days to 6 months old).
  • Mask requirement:
    Mouth-nose protection must be worn in most indoor areas.

Vienna (7.1.2022)

  • Arrival at hotel:
    2G - vaccination proof (first vaccination NOT valid, second vaccination - max. 9 months old, vaccines where only 1 vaccination is necessary: booster vaccination no later than 2nd January or convalescent proof (certificate of segregation or medical certificate from EU, max. 180 days old).

    Children from 6 to 12 years of age who are living in Austria can arrive with their 'Ninja-Pass' (school test pass). Children under 6years are exempt from the proof requirement. Children from 12 to 15 years must have a 2.5G proof (vaccinated, recovered or PCR test proof max. 48h old.)
  • Gastronomy: 
    2G - vaccination proof (first vaccination NOT valid, second vaccination - max. 9 months old, vaccines where only 1 vaccination is necessary: booster vaccination no later than 2nd January or convalescent proof (certificate of segregation or medical certificate from EU, max. 180 days old).
  • Mask requirement:
    An FFP2 mask must be worn in all areas of the hotel (except rooms). 

Zurich (6.1.2022)

  • Arrival at hotel:
    Negative test proof (PCR test max. 72h, antigen rapid test max. 24h old). Between day 4 and 7 another negative test proof (PCR test max. 72h, rapid test max. 24h old) is required for unvaccinated/unvected guests.
  • Gastronomy:
    Indoor areas: 2G - Access only for vaccinated or recovered guests. This is checked by certificate with the 'Covid Certificate Check' app, and an ID document with name, date of birth and photo is also required. The certificates are issued for persons who are fully vaccinated (15th day after the last vaccination dose) and recovered persons (from 11th day after positive test result up to max. 180 days). The EU Digital COVID Certificate is recognized in Switzerland and can also be checked with the Covid Certificate Check app. Guests from third countries (=outside the EU) must have their certificate (2G) converted online in order to obtain a certificate valid in Switzerland.
    Outdoor areas: No test or vaccination proof required.
  • Mask requirement:
    Mouth-nose protection must be worn in all indoor areas.
