Indre By

Colourful retreat in a former university: about coming of age and the conflict between knowledge and passion

About the Hotel

i can’t adult today.

In the heart of the Scandinavian metropolis, the 25hours Hotel Indre By has found its home. The 19th century building once housed a porcelain factory, and was later used as a university building. Art and knowledge have become exciting new bedfellows in the hotel they now call home. Centrally located between the Round Tower and the Kobmagergade shopping street, 243 rooms are waiting to be explored. Room categories range from Medium Single to Gigantic and offer a retreat to suit every traveller and their needs. Whether it’s the Vinyl Room or the Love Library, hidden places are situated all over the hotel, ready to be discovered. The NENI restaurant and Café Duse are the perfect places to socialise for hotel guests and locals alike.

ride it like you stole it.

It’s as synonymous with Copenhagen as smørrebrød: the bicycle. The city is ideal for exploring by bike, and that’s why we wanted to offer our guests the urban bikes made by the Berlin-based firm Schindelhauer. Both classic city bikes and e-bikes await visitors, perfect for a relaxed tour of the neighbourhood. A tour map of the most charming routes around the city is available, curated by bike professionals especially for 25hours. And if you fancy exploring the immediate neighbourhood on foot, you’ll find everything you need in the Jogging Corner.

ready for relaxation.

The spacious wellbeing area is situated on the first floor of the hotel. A fully-equipped fitness studio awaits hotel guests, featuring the latest techno gym equipment, yoga mats and a view of the terrace. Our outdoor sauna, with both indoor and outdoor loungers, offers guests the opportunity for deep relaxation. If you arrive early and want to hit the city before check-in, feel free to use the power shower in the sauna area to freshen up before your rendezvous with Copenhagen.

seek & find.

The search for the perfect souvenir doesn’t have to be complicated. If you want to treat your loved ones (or yourself), you’re guaranteed to find what you’re looking for in the 25h things shop next to reception. You won’t find tacky Denmark-imprinted mugs here; instead you’ll find a selection of carefully curated products from local businesses. The products in your room, such as Soeder cosmetics and canvasco and FREITAG bags, can also be purchased here.

Parking

We recommend using one of the car parks in the surrounding area. 25hours guests get a 10% discount at Q Park.

Public Transport

The hotel is located in walking distance of Noerreport, where you can find the train, metro and busses. There is also a direct connection to the Copenhagen Kastrup Airport from here.
