The 25hours Hotel Hamburg HafenCity is the perfect place to drop anchor in Hamburg. In the heart of the new HafenCity area, the hotel is located between the Elbe Philharmonic Hall, the cruise ship terminal and the historic warehouses of the Speicherstadt. Guests can walk to the city centre or get there in just five minutes on the underground. Designed as a home away from home, the guest cabins are warm and cosy. Features and materials inspired by shipbuilding are interpreted with tongue-in-cheek humour and held together with sailors’ yarns: 25 seafarers from around the world tell real-life stories of dangerous voyages, romantic encounters and painful farewells at the 25hours Hotel HafenCity.
The waterside hotel has 170 cabins for wakeful minds and weary bodies. Cabins are classed as M, M+ or L. The nine boutique XL Cabins have extra space: ideal for guests who are spending longer in the city or celebrating a special occasion. All of the rooms tell tales of seafaring and adventures from around the globe. Each room contains a logbook which inspires guests to explore the city – something which is easy with free MINI rental – or spend a little time lingering in the harbour. All of the rooms have free WiFi.
HEIMAT Kitchen + Bar serves as a lounge for the whole Überseequartier district and guests at the 25hours hotel. In the heart of the HafenCity, the restaurant has a laid-back feel with contemporary references to living and working in the port. HEIMAT serves fresh regional dishes and drinks supplied by our local partners. Regular concerts and events provide the perfect way to relax after work and well into the night.
With its Radio Room, Club Room and Vinyl Room, the Club Floor is perfect for unique get-togethers, small-scale discussions and focusing on work. A relaxed lounge feel invites guests to kick back and relax – and anyone will find the perfect soundtrack for their frame of mind in the large collection of records. The rooms on the Club Floor are also ideal for breakout sessions during large events.
Perched right at the top of the hotel is the Hafensauna. Designed with fans of the traditional Finnish sauna in mind rather than modern-day spa-goers, it is a no-frills affair up on the sixth floor. There may sometimes be a stiff breeze, but great views are guaranteed. To cool off, guests simply step straight outside where they can look out over the port and the cruise ship terminal.
Special occasions call for an unusual setting and what could impress your business associates more than a seminar room with a view of the port? The 25hours Hotel Hamburg HafenCity offers flexible space with a unique atmosphere: an original shipping container for intimate meetings, a Club Floor for informal workshops, flexible Freiraum function rooms for traditional conferences, and a 300sqm / 3230sqft Gallery for larger events.
In conjunction with the publishing house mare Verlag and in the tradition of grand old hotels, there is a mare kiosk on the ground floor. As well as essentials for hotel guests, it stocks books and magazines published by mare Verlag and Ginko Press. The shop also sells art and knick-knacks from Northern Germany along with items from our cooperation partners.
